About YARD

Youth Alliance for Development (YARD): Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities

Established in 2001 by a group of passionate young individuals, the Youth Alliance for Development (YARD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering Nepal’s youth and marginalized communities. We recognize the immense potential of young people to drive positive change and are committed to providing them with the tools, opportunities, and platforms they need to become leaders and agents of transformation.

Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized groups in Nepal, including poverty, discrimination, and limited access to education and healthcare. We believe that by addressing these root causes and investing in the potential of young people, we can build a more just, equitable, and prosperous society for all.

YARD’s approach is multi-faceted, encompassing a range of programs and initiatives that focus on youth empowerment, social justice, and community well-being.
